Questionable Highland Claims?

Postby Oldnbroken » Tue Feb 09, 2010 3:53 pm

Remember Highland? I was just doing some reading and ran across something on their website http://www.highland.se/. Under press release there is a claim that they won 1st place in the Open Pro class at last years' Gold Rush. So I took a look at the 2009 results http://www.okgoldrush.com/. Seems that out of 7 entries they (Martin Lind) were the only DNF in the class. Not trying to pick a fight, but it kind of makes the gears start turning.

I dont think its illegal. Heck ATK claims 48hp at 10,000 rpm on thier quads. Kawasaki claimed they had the first fuel injected atv .

it's like our jackarse politicians; basically lying outta their arse with the use of interpretation.

We no longer have a black and white world where morals are conclusive; but a grey one where everything is acceptable.

I understand "gray". I work for a state institution run by politicians. The rules are constantly being adapted to fit the current version of reality.

The victory was in the Open Pro " Supermoto " race on Sunday over two other current top ten AMA supermoto racers.
