My Dad works down the road from the Dinli offices in Dallas and he and his wife were nice enough to go over and meet Justin and take a few photos for us. Here you go! Enjoy!

Are they going to build motorcycles as well? Is there a Dinli/ Cannondale FAQ?

Dinli has said that they plan to build motorcycles in the future but they will begin with only quads.

FAQ? What would you like to know?

Like, is Dinli a division of ATK?

Is ATK planning on making Cannondale- clones?

If ATK is going ot build a Cannondale clone, will it be a joint effort with
Dinli?

Who is Dinli?

Who will be fabricating new parts for our Cannondales, i.e. for the new Cannondale clones?

Will the new Cannondale clones have interchangeable engine parts with our 'old' Cannondales?

Etc.

No, Dinli and ATK are not affiliated.

ATK is putting bikes together from parts they have and also refurbishing/rebadging/upgrading buybacks from Cannondale dealers that they have obtained. I do not believe they plan to manufacture a Cannondale clone.

No, ATK and Dinli (at this time) are not affiliated and as far as we know, not working together.

ATK has expressed that they plan to continue to provide parts, some of which they must be planning to have manufactured again. Dinli will be building new units (manufacturing them) and they have said many parts will be interchangeable.

Will the new Cannondale clones have interchangeable engine parts with our 'old' Cannondales?

We are not yet sure on this one. You can ask Dinli in the Dinli forum but I am not sure that they are 100% either.

Etc.

Those are all to the best of my knowledge...

So, essentially, after ATK builds their strokers with the parts, we (As in, the original Cannondale owners) will not have any more parts until Dinli starts fabricating their own, and EVEN THEN, not all parts are "interchangeable". I thought that ATK was going to essentially begin where Cannondale left off, and keep producing them, not neccesarily from the spare parts. Should I wrap my bike in bubble wrap now?

That is a topic of much debate because Dinli bought the Intellectual Property of Cannondale Motorsports - not ATK. I don't think anyone will be sure what that means unless it winds up in a courtroom. I don't think ATK can produce the exact quads legally but who knows. ATK has however planned to provide long term parts support...

Bubble wrap? No way ... ride it! Hard!

I usually get a new ride every 3-4 years. As long as I have parts for this season and most of the 2005 season I'm good. Chances are they won't run out by then. :)
